Talk_Spellbound_ Which Game to Play_
I want to know what each party is going to be doing. The Rashemen plot has elements that other characters would want to be in on, and I don't think finishing it off so early is a good idea. We've been given the reveal of Eltab as the Big Bad, but it might be a little bit too early for diving along this plot arc.
This leads into the primary question of what story are we trying to tell here? What's the arc for this game? I had originally thought that the arc was going to lead us into a confrontation with Eltab at the end of the campaign.

Right away, I can guarantee that there is no planned final ending for the campaign at the conclusion of either story arc. However, it remains a possibility, as there could be a reasonable end in either case.
One cannot have a story arc retroactively. The events presaging a conflict with Eltab or ethergaunts are not soundly based. While this weakens the dramatic impact of the final conflict, it also frees us all in future direction. My only focus now is on running compelling and exciting sessions.

::Tasha is supposed to be involved in that plot, but I don't necessarily see us accelerating toward some endpoint where opportunities involving her would be missed. Her back story probably isn't elaborated on enough to make that satisfying anyway, particularly since I haven't even figured out what she's been doing offstage (during those missed sessions - mark down June 2 as another one of those). I'm having fun with both characters right now, and Sergei is definitely the right choice for beating the crap out of mecha. -Tallas 14:53, 23 May 2007 (EDT)
